Attacking Edwards

I can't believe I did it but I finally chopped off a big section of trunk from Edward. I'm hoping all the vitality will now go into the four branches. I was motivated to prune this way because part of the trunk, that I cut off, was dead and I didn't think it would provide good strength as it got bigger. No more pruning for Edward until at least he's three feet tall.
Below, I grafted two of Edward's scions onto a Kent seedling that I grew and replanted.
As an experiment, I grafted a tiny portion of Edward onto this manila seedling (below).
Group photo after I rearrange the plants.
Voila.

Lancetilla

Group Shots.

I topped this seedling to encourage branching.
I smelled the sap from this Kent seedling and it smelled good. I wonder if I could keep it alive till its fruits, would it taste good?
