I couldn't wait. I pruned Edward back (I read that its good to do this after transplanting) in the hopes of shaping it to a "dwarf" form. I feel like I violated poor Edward in some terrible way.
I took the two pruned off cuttings (trimmed off leaves down to two each) and put them into glass jars with a mixture of diatomaceous rock and coir. Into that I poured a mixture of KLN, Bio-Weed, sugar and B1. I dipped the cuttings into rooting hormone before inserting them into the media. I then bagged them. I read that cutting can root but it won't have the benefit of a tap-root.
