Day 12, Lemon Zest is pushing buds.

A whole bunch of leaves fell off, so I pulled off all the remainder that were brown or crispy. It looked rather bare but…

Lo and behold! I see buds pushing out.

I really hope they do grow out. Its a sign of recovery.

Will have to wait and see how it does. I took the bag off since there are hardly any leaves left.
I plan to let it grow out (if it does) and once I feel confident that its roots are okay, I'll think of pruning it down to be shorter.
