Lemon Zest
moved to work.
Although it has lost a lot of leaves and still not "out of the woods," Lemon Zest is looking okay for being in transplant shock. I am convinced that I could have saved Orange Sherbet with a huge plastic bag. Oh well, you live and learn. The good thing is the trunk and most of the stems still remain green and so are a handful of leaves.
I cut off or pulled off the dead leaves. Then laced the plastic bag back over the branches to keep humidity high.
Jan 18th update: its been 11 days, so I am starting to feel pretty good about LZ's surviving. I am starting to feel a pattern when compared to my other mango transplants. That after 10 days being given humidity after repotting, the chances of surviving goes way up.
