Pushing growth out after I pruned it and it looks like pinching off the tip of the new growth has the effect of also spurring new buds.

Slicing off the growth tip has produced about 4-5 new buds.

Slicing off Pickering's tip also encouraged new buds.

Carrie is coming along with its new buds but its rather slow.

I think new growth. The picture on the left is a damaged twig but it has non the less pushed a bud out. The other twig on the right looks ready to flush.

Though healthy, a side view shows how she's is lop-sided. I would like to try notching on her to try to get branches on the opposite side of the new growth but am hesitant.

Since pinching/slicing off the tip Julie #4 is about to push out three growths from what I can see. Cool!

My first Julie's growth is steadily getting better. Though difficult to see, there are three shoots on her.
